Holidays
At Venture Trust we offer a generous holiday allowance of 28 days, plus 9 bank and public holiday days per year. Staff with three years’ service or more also benefit from accruing additional long-service annual leave.
Pension
We offer all employees the opportunity to join our workplace pension scheme – 5% contribution made by the individual and 3% contribution made by Venture Trust.
Flexible working and time off
We recognise the growing need for people today to be able to work flexibly. That’s why we’ve developed a number of flexible working opportunities for our staff.
We provide support for time off when you need it most. We provide more generous maternity provisions than required by law, but we’ve not forgotten about dad’s either – we provide the statutory two weeks’ paid paternity leave with the option to take further paid leave where mum returns to work before her maternity pay period ends. We also offer eighteen weeks’ parental leave, and flexible dependent care leave, and are keen to support time off for career or personal development breaks where possible.
Learning and development
Venture Trust recognises that it is essential to support and encourage staff to develop their skills so we can consistently provide a high quality service to the people we work with, and increase individual job satisfaction. That’s why our annual appraisal process provides a formal setting to focus on development needs and why we offer up to 10 days a year for staff training and development.
