This year team #Venture Trust wants you to join us for the 2023 Kiltwalk!
The Kiltwalk is a unique and accessible Scotland-wide fundraising event, attracting people of all ages and abilities to walk and support their chosen charity. Just sign up, spread the word and walk the route of your choice – either the 4.3 Wee Wander or the 20-mile Mighty Stride.
Whichever you sign up for, it’s a brilliant and unforgettable day out. Spirits are high, four legged friends are more than welcome, and there’s food suited to all dietary requirements on offer.
We at Venture Trust make the most of the benefits of time spent outdoors in our personal development programmes and Outdoor Therapy service, so getting outdoors and going for a walk is the perfect way to fundraise for us.
Why walk for Venture Trust?
You’ll be helping us change the lives of Scottish people facing some of life’s toughest challenges. We support people leaving the criminal justice system behind who might be at risk of reoffending, ex-service personnel grappling with the transition to civilian life, young people struggling to get into employment, people struggling with substance misuse issues and their mental health and wellbeing.
The outdoors and wilderness is at the heart of our approach. We see these places as a positive therapeutic learning and development environments where our participants can reflect, challenge themselves, discover their identity and begin to consider a more positive future for themselves.

Start times:
Mighty Stride 9:00 –9:30 (average end-time 16:00)
Wee Wander 11:00 – 11:30 (average end-time 12.30)
Where?
Dundee
Dundee: The Mighty Stride starts off at St Andrews and finishes in Dundee.
The Wee Wander begins in Broughty Ferry, finishing up in Dundee town centre.
How far is the walk?
The Mighty Stride is a 20-mile walk, and the Wee Wander is 4.3 miles – choose whichever suits you best!
What we’ll do
- We’ll cover your registration fee when you sign up through the link below – so you’ll have nothing to pay to take part! Just sign up and rally your friends, family, colleagues to raise money that will help us transform lives for the better.
- We’ll give you tips on how to fundraise and get people involved
- We’ll send you a Venture Trust t-shirt in your chosen size
- If getting to Dundee and back is a hassle, we’ll have our Venture Trust minibuses out in force to transport you to the start line and back from the finish line.
