Welchy Fishing

Hello my name is Welchy I’m from Kirkcaldy, fife I Came to venture trust sort out my life and I’m going to tell you a little about my experience.

The Final Six

Well what can I say we did a lot of cool stuff and exiting stuff as well for example, we kayaked over to a place called Uags we camped there for a night then we sailed over the open sea to a little island called Raasay set up camp made a little fire plus made our own fishing rods.

Then the following day because the weather was getting that bad we had to sail back to Uags and after we set up camp again and had our tea we went abseiling which I found pretty scary because I’m petrified or heights the drop was 75 feet but I still done it I enjoyed it that much I done it again.

On my final expedition we all got to have a solo night which means that we all have our own campsite away from everyone else and you get to do what you want.

While I was on my solo night I wrote a little poem and I thought I would share it with you so here it is…..

VENTURE TRUST

IM JUST A GUY FROM A PLACE CALLED FIFE

I CAME TO VENTURE TRUST TO CHANGE MY LIFE

NO ONE THOUGHT I WOULD OF CAME

BUT I SURELY WENT AND I SHOWED THEM

ALONG THE WAY I REALLY HAD FUN

AND NOW THE COURSE IS NEARLY DONE

ALL THE STAFF ARE REALLY GREAT

BUT LOOK OUT FOR THEM IF YOU ARE LATE

PEOPLE GO ALONG THE WAY

BUT THERES NOTHING ANYONE CAN SAY

VENTURE TRUST IS THE PLACE TO BE

BUT YOU WON’T KNOW UNTILL U GO AND SEE.

Now it’s the end of the course I’v gained a lot more things than I thought I would for instance I never thought I would do anything that included heights but I did( I even went rock climbing ).
