Our digital Employability Hub will offer people core skills development, self-awareness, barrier removal and goal setting with employability support aimed at those looking for further training and progression to employment. Supporting people to be more ready for work or to volunteer in their community.
During these challenging times it is important to remember everyone will face emotions such as feeling bored, frustrated or lonely. As well as low, worried or anxious, or concerned about finances, health or those close to you. But at Venture Trust we are working with smart technology to reach those who need help most in their own homes. Our new support service is online, with all Venture Trust support staff providing tailored support by phone or digital platforms.
Through the Hub people will have access to:
- One-to-one conversations focused on employability during the challenging coronavirus times
- Virtual group sessions including 'Job Clubs'
- Tips and resources on the Venture Trust website and social media channels
We can help with:
- CV support and action planning
How to create a CV that will make people stand out, develop action plans to get them into work or study and links to FREE online training courses.
identifying their skills and qualities.
Looking at college applications.
Support people to take up existing offers of work or volunteering.
We will post a list of live job opportunities each week and advice on where to look for jobs or volunteer opportunities in priority sectors to build experience.
