  • Comic Relief

    Comic Relief is funding our programmes for 16-24 year olds through its "Make Yourself at Home" grant. The funding will be for three years and will help support young people who have previously, or are currently at risk of, experiencing homelessness across Scotland.

  • Life Changes Trust

    Care experienced young people on our Inspiring Young Futures programme are supported with funding from the Life Changes Trust. The Trust is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

  • Cashback for Communities

    The Scottish Government's Cashback for Communities fund our Change Cycle programme, supporting disadvantaged young people (aged 16-24) to build confidence, motivation, skills and behaviours enabling them to achieve positive destinations.

  • Impetus

    Impetus has provided Venture Trust with a package of funding along with strategic and operational support in order to improve the long-term employment and education outcomes for young people in Scotland experiencing disadvantage or living with vulnerable or chaotic circumstances.

  • Heritage Fund

    The National Lottery Heritage Fund is providing funding to support our Next Steps programme in an exciting project with our partners at Historic Environment Scotland, ‘Understanding Our Place in Time: Women at Risk of Offending Discovering their Place in Heritage’.

  • LIBOR funds

    Venture Trust's Positive Futures programme is funded by the Chancellor using LIBOR funds.

  • Souter Charitable Trust

    The Souter Charitable Trust assists projects engaged in the relief of human suffering in the UK and overseas.

    The Robertson Trust is an independent Scottish grant-making Trust. They are supporting our Inspiring Young Futures programme in Glasgow, Inverclyde, South and North Lanarkshire for three years from 2018-2020

  • Whirlwind Charitable Trust

    The focus of the charity is to provide life-enhancing experiences to young, disadvantaged and disabled people, principally but not exclusively through the challenge and stimulation of maritime and outdoor pursuits. The Trust's goals are to encourage those they support to grow in confidence, ambition and achievement, whatever their personal background and circumstances. The Trust is funding Venture Trust's Living Wild programme.

    Venture Trust is working in partnership with The Wise Group to deliver Fair Start Scotland - the Scottish Government's new employability service helping people get into work. It is a collaboration with partners across the West region to deliver tailored one-to-one support for up to 18 months, then further support when a person gets into employment. Visit Website

  • EEA and Norway Grants

    The EEA and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe. Venture Trust, together with partners from Poland, Spain, Ireland, and led by the Centre for Innovative Education is in receipt of a grant towards the current 3-yera project, "From Outdoors to Labour Market” Project (FOLM). The project, on which Venture Trust is the expert partner, aims to give nearly 1000 young people not in education, employment or training – from Poland, Spain and Ireland – the skills and opportunities through innovative outdoor learning to develop life and professional skills to find and sustain employment.

    This established Scottish funder supports our Inspiring Young Futures programme, specifically Outreach Worker costs to support young people from Glasgow and the surrounding districts in West of Scotland.

Delivery partners

  • SEPA

    Venture Trust and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) created a Sustainable Growth Agreement to combine social and environmental objectives. This will provide support for Venture Trust participants through a number of empowering initiatives, including opportunities to experience work and move towards employment. SEPA will also provide support to Venture Trust to reduce it's environmental impact.

  • Move On

    We are delighted to be working with Move On in delivering peer mentoring training for our Next Steps and Positive Futures participants. We also work in partnership with Move On to deliver the Reaching Higher programme. Move On’s focus is on supporting people to make positive change in their lives.

  • Historic Environment Scotland

    We are continuing our partnership with Historic Environment Scotland to deliver two heritage wilderness journeys for women at risk of offending. ‘Understanding Our Place in Time’ will allow participants to explore and understand their place in time in order to move towards a better future.

  • Shine Women's Mentoring Service

    We're delighted to be a partner in the Shine Women's Mentoring Service - a Public Social Partnership led by Sacro. The service is delivered by SACRO (lead partner), Apex Scotland, Barnardo’s, Circle, The Wise Group, Turning Point Scotland, Access to Industry, Venture Trust. Other partners are Scottish Prison Service, Association of Directors of Social Work and Scotland’s eight Criminal Justice Authorities.
