    Crerar Hotels is part owned by a charitable trust whose objective is to give to worthy causes every year. In 2010/11, around 50 charities and organisations to date have benefited from donations totalling over £450,000. These donations were made to community organisations, educational and training establishments, health and medical charities and sports clubs amongst others.

    Aberdeen Students' Charities Campaign homepage (ASCC) is one of the country's longest-running fundraising campaign of its kind. Every year thousands of students from across Aberdeen's Higher Education Establishments (University of Aberdeen, RGU and Aberdeen College) work tirelessly to organise events and collections to raise tens of thousands of pounds for local and national charities, groups and projects across Aberdeen, the North-East and on a national level.

    The Saddlers' Company Charitable Fund was formed in 1970, with capital provided entirely by donations from the Company's corporate funds. Its modern terms of reference allow the Trustees wide discretion in the use of its income, making it the major vehicle for the Company's' charitable activities.
